On May 27, 2020, HBO Max, a new streaming service from Warner Media, went live globally. HBO Max will cost the same as a regular HBO package, therefore AT&T has been attempting to get users to switch to it. Currently, this costs $14.99 a month.
You may watch HBO Max on Discord by utilizing a few settings and accessing all of HBO Max’s features. This new streaming service will provide a variety of original programs and films in addition to well-known shows like Friends and The Big Bang Theory. Only a small number of countries around the world allow its use. At this time, only the following devices support HBO Max:
- Apple products (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD)
- Chromebooks, Android TVs, Android devices, and Chromecast (this can be used through the HBO Max Android application)
- Sony PlayStation (through the HBO Max Playstation Store application)
- Xbox One (through the HBO Max Microsoft Store application)
- Galaxy Smart TVs (through the HBO Max website, and only on models since and after 2016)
However, Comcast TV, Amazon Fire, and Roku TV users are not able to access HBO Max services. The new streaming service is not currently supported by these media and entertainment distributors.
Many HBO Max subscribers who own Samsung TVs must upgrade HBO Max on their Samsung Smart TVs, and they are debating the procedure that will enable them to do so. Simply take the following actions if you find yourself in the same situation:
- Launch the Samsung Smart TV’s Smart Hub.
- Select “Apps” from the menu.
- Select “Settings” from the menu. On your screen, this is in the upper-right corner.
- To update the TV app, select “Updates.”
- In the list, look for “HBO Max” and pick it. Then click “Update.” It’s incredibly simple to update your app.
